About Us
We are Michigan's Voter Accountability Project (MVAP).
We are focused on protecting Michigan's voting rights through accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
Our work centers on documenting election proposals and laws as they are written — without spin, slogans, or selective framing — to allow the public to see what is actually being proposed.
We track and respond to active misinformation campaigns around voting and voter eligibility.
When claims are misleading or false, we point to primary sources, explain the implications in plain language, and separate fact from fear.
Our goal is harm reduction. Confusion and disinformation around elections lead to real consequences for voters. We aim to reduce that harm by making complex material accessible, verifiable, and grounded in evidence.
